Community Cohesion Advocates CIC celebrates after receiving £10k from the National Lottery to run its Parenting and Computing Project
We are pleased to announce that in June 2019 we have been awarded £10k from the National Lottery Community Fund to support our Parenting and Computing Workshop to benefit the local and wider community.
The new funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, which distributes money raised by National Lottery players for good causes and is the largest community funder in the UK, will allow us to run a 30-week Parenting and Computing Workshop to teach parents and children how to use the internet safely. Through this interactive learning process, the parents and children will be given the opportunity to improve their communication skills. This workshop is completely free and everyone is welcome to join.
The Parenting and Computing Workshop will run from September 2019. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for further information.
